COD LIVER OIL

Cod liver oil is a food supplement derived from the liver of the codfish. As with most fatty fish oils, cod liver oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids, which are especially important for healthy heart and brain function.

The difference between fish oil and cod liver oil is that, as the name suggests, cod liver oil is derived from cod livers, whereas fish oil is derived from the bodies of several types of fish. Another significant difference is that cod liver oil contains the fat-soluble vitamins A and D while fish oil does not normally.
