Meet our Probiotic Goddess Zoe Salmon

Zoe Salmon is a qualified lawyer and TV presenter from Northern Ireland who is most well known from her four years as a Blue Peter presenter. Following a successful stint on Dancing on Ice in 2009 where she reached the quarter finals, Zoe has gone on to present a variety of television shows including a BBC documentary, “The Big fat truth about low fat foods”, “Compete for the Meat” alongside Al Murray and played the part of a presenter in Russell Brand’s movie “Get him to the Greek.” Zoe has an infectious bubbly personality and in her spare time enjoys music, shopping and going home to Belfast to spend time with friends and family.

Favourite book?

Not a reader! When I think of reading I connect it to work reading scripts and my time spent studying law.

Favourite item of clothing?

Miss Northern Ireland red dress. It was the first formal dress that I had to save up for - it's simple classic, timeless. The dress has a lot of meaning for me.

Most Fun thing you did on Blue Peter?

Royal variety performance. I successfully auditioned to be a dancer and performed with Meat Loaf and Jamelia and then in the finale with John Barrowman.

Scariest experience?

First time I jumped out of a plane! I was the first Blue Peter presenter to pull their own parachute cord and I remember being super scared in the lead up.

Are you frightened of anything/any phobias?

No. But I would never do a bungee jump!

Most star struck moment?

When I interviewed David Beckham at Real Madrid, he was lovely.

Greatest indulgence?

Chocolate – Milk, dark or white.

Most famous friend?

Konnie Huq we became friends on Blue Peter and are in touch regularly.
