The teenage years can be a difficult time for teenagers, but it can also be for their parents. Arguments and tantrums start now.

Teenagers can be notoriously grumpy, lazy, rude and unhealthy. But when you stop and think about it, it’s easy to see why this is so. Teenagers are under immense pressure. It’s a time when exams start looming, they start being questioned over their future careers, expectations are high, peer pressure becomes more intense and hormones start to run riot often becoming distracting and uncontrollable. What they do need is for you to be there for them. They might not often show you that you’re needed, but you are.

Revision tip:

How to stop your brain from hurting
during revision

Recording and listening to audio tapes can be a fun and effective way to revise. As long as you have a portable music player and a pair of headphones, you can revise on the go. From walking to school to sitting on the bus; this method will help you to make use of time that might otherwise be wasted.
