About Dealth Valley Jack
Jack Denness is an endurance racing’s seventy-five-year-old living legend, affectionately known as “Death Valley Jack”. Jack started off completing the grueling Badwater Ultra-Marathon (recognized globally as "the world's toughest") – racing against a strict three-day time limit through Arizona’s Death Valley – aged fifty-three. Since then he has completed the Badwater race an astounding fourteen times - most recently in 2010, with support and sponsorship from Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil. Jack Denness finished the toughest race of its kind in 59 hours, 13 minutes.
Jack has been a lifelong fan of Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil. “I swear by Cod Liver Oil”, Jack told website www.therunningbug.co.uk in a recent interview. “I was a war child and we were forced to take spoonfuls of the stuff at school…[I] knew it was good for me so I kept taking it into adulthood. Nowadays I take the Seven Seas capsules….I’ve never had any joint problems, so I think I’m living proof that it does the job.”
Recently Jack has won the Pride in Medway Award for his fundraising marathon efforts. Here at Seven Seas, we are delighted to be involved with Jack and it gives us great privilege to present the video’s of his journey in completing his latest Badwater race: Death Valley Jack the Movie!
