Role of HR
The HR team co-ordinates all recruitment activity, ensuring that vacancies are approved, budgeted and supported by a job description.
The HR team is responsible for identifying and briefing recruitment agencies and agreeing terms of business.
We publicise vacancies internally on our intranet, and in the Careers section of our website, we also advertise all vacancies which are open to external applicants.
PSL
We work with a number of preferred suppliers who have technical, sector or local expertise. We only extend the briefing to more agencies if it proves very difficult to fill a position. We are not currently seeking to increase the number of agencies that we work with.
However, If you would like to work with Seven Seas in the future, please send an email to recruitment@sseas.com with the following information:
- Terms of business
- Sector or technical specialism(s)
- Office location
- Brief profile of the named consultant who would work with us
- Three examples of recent placements
Please be aware that we will only contact you in the event that we would be interested in discussing your service in more detail.
Unsolicited Phone Calls
We operate a strict policy on unsolicited contact from recruitment agencies. Contact via the aforementioned process is the only method we accept unless we directly inform you otherwise. As you can appreciate unsolicited phone calls take up an enormous amount of time and therefore we respectfully ask that you follow the above process. Continued unsolicited phone calls will result in blacklisting your agency
Speculative Candidate Introductions
As a general rule we do not accept speculative referrals, and our willingness to look at cv's will depend on how long a vacancy has been open. If you feel strongly that you have the ideal candidate for one of the vacancies, you can email recruitment@sseas.com with the following information:
- The role the candidate is being introduced for
- Candidate Name
- Current salary and salary expectations
- Current location (and willingness to relocate if appropriate)
- Availability/Notice period
- Reason to support your referral
Speculative Referral Terms
We will pay a maximum introduction fee of 10% of starting salary only.
We require a refund period of 12 weeks in your TOB
You will not be authorised to fully represent Seven Seas until we have confirmed interest in your candidate for a specific vacancy.
